With the exception of Hanford City Fire, all fire units are dispatched by Kings County. Corcoran and Avenal city are contracted to Kings County for fire, and Lemoore's VFD is dispatched by county fire.

Kings County Fire Frequencies

Each fire station except Station 5 has an engine and a squad, some maintain utility vehicles. Station 5 has 2-3 engines and a sqaud. Additional engines at a station are given a number before their station. For example, the first-line engine at station 11 is "Engine 5", whereas the second-line engine is "Engine 2-5". Lemoore fire units identify as Lemoore xx, where odd numbers are squadas and even numbers are engines.
